Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Her work has received acclaim by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. She began working as a photo assistant later moved into modeling and acting. The award she received was an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international hit, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, she became the top female box-office star in the entire world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in 1972. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
