David Muir, an American journalist from the United States who anchors ABC News magazine 20, is best known for his role as anchorman of World News Tonight With David Muir. The most popular news program across America features his dramatic show that features gossip about celebrities, animated gestures and video clips. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor of choice for the anchor who was his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He was the anchor for numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones of which include Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's traveled all over the world, report on the news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards, and other honors from the Associated Press.
